GOOD NEWS. . . . The PICTURE UPLOAD FUNCTION IS WORKING !!! The tech folks at the parent company have been able to remedy the issue. You can upload pictures once again. Thank you for your patience.
Sorry, it takes other stuff like port timming, exhaust settings, and maybe a few others to make a 15hp rather than a 9.9. Better off to just buy the 15 if that's what you want, it's cheeaper and a lot easier.

Craig
This subject has been covered ad-nauseum just about every month. Try a search and you'll find plenty of information including plenty of reasons why it's a really bad idea. The gentleman that told you that all you need is a carb is woefully misinformed! I wouldn't let him work on my lawnmower!
There was a time, many many MANY moons ago, that intake chages on Mercury's were all it took to get some extra hp.

Alas, Mercury smartened up, and it hasn't been that way for decades.

Who ever gave you that advice prolly lost the acid wars of the late 60's.

-W
Hi Willy..... Nice to see your doing ok.

Bottom line.... Do a search with my number below and you will get all the info you need.... I asked the question and have found a certified merc mechanic that would do all the work to make it happen. ESTIMATED total cost of parts and labor is in $400 ballpark.
I don't know why the folks here just want to sell someone a new 15hp rather than giving folks the real deal.....

And no I am not from Cambodia..... LOL
