My brother in law has bought an 60 HP Outbord Mercury in "boxes and bags". I'm in the process of assembly. What are the torque settings, and which bolts/nut do I need to "torque"?
The engine has ser. no. 9435866 (possibly a letter or a digit missing, but this is what's readable...)and was made in Belgium.

Regards
Roy I. Hernes, Tonsberg, Norway.

A good Manual will have all the info you need. I would surely have one if I was putting an engine back together.. I think they ship almost anywhere or get one at your local Merc. dealer if one is close..

www.marineengine.com/manuals
