True!

Take the prop to a prop shop and have a new hub pressed in. NOT a DYI job.

Chris..........

I wouldnt bother getting the new rubber hub.For 50.00 more or so,you could get the new style prop. The rubber hub has to be pressed out,and the new one pressed in.If you do go this route, you can get the new rubber hub at your local prop shop. good luck

Re: Propeller rubber hub, sleeve, ???

Repeat : NOT A D-I-Y JOB.

One of the risks is that the prop will explode as the new hub is pressed in.

The new props don't have a rubber hub. It's a plastic, user replaceable, hub.

Chris..........

Re: Propeller rubber hub, sleeve, ???

I get the propeller re-hubbed, balanced and painted like new for $120.00. Should I replace the impeller, just in case its more easier at this time before install the propeller back? Im asking because since I get my boat the leaking its very poor even when the last owner told me that he replace the impeller recently.(one year ago) This is normal on this mercury 1150???
