Hi Andy,
That would be several hundred pages worth of copyrighted materials. Not gonna happen - you'd be forever downloading them, plus it would be illegal. Swallow the $20-$35 and get the real deal... You can get aftermarket manuals here through iboats, or order the OEM manual through your Merc dealer.
- Scott

If you want to be really mean, you can borrow it from the library and do what ever you are comfortable with. But I would buy one from iboats as they are a great site and well worthy of a good customer base.

Hi Scott!!!

I moved to lake Hartwell S.C. to get year round water. But saying I'm from the "finger lakes" would fit me better. :D

Innocent enough question Guys, there are tons of free manuals on the web from cell phones to Land Rover cars, so why not ask? :)

No real intent to beat Andy up, but he REALLY needs a hard copy of the manual. Both Scott (who's been doing this longer than I have) and myself know that if you have an "Old Merc" you need to "become one with your manual".

When I got my (still beloved) 1961 Merc 800, I bought the 1965 and prior manual and married it for a season of beadtime reading till I knew all six feet of that beast from top-hat to skeg.

The spare guest room in my new lake house is set up to mimic a motel room. In the drawer on the nightstand is a Gideons Bible AND a Merc Manual.

-W :D

Only dogs that will "play nice" with my German Shepard. Angry little dogs and all cats are at very high risk. :)

-W
