prop boot spinning

I have a 225 black maxand at high Rpms I have spun two props and I've hit anything. Merc.says <br />my exhust temp is to hot .(?) and the out shaft is running true.

I can see that happening if you're having water supply problems to your motor. Water pumped thru the motor for cooling also cools the exhaust. I imagine with that much horsepower, the exhaust can get pretty hot. Is it possible that you are sucking air into the top intake holes for the water pump when you're at full throttle and trim? Perhaps at lower speeds they are further into the water.

What kind of prop are you running... Is the motor running hot? <br /><br />"and the out shaft is running true" <br />that's good!
