HI,
I have a "68" thunderbolt 650 and bent my propshaft out about 3/8 of an inch,so now the seals don't hold no more,i've found a couple of lower units from some late 70's mercs,70hp models and wondering if these will fit and if it is a real difficult job, otherwise i have found a brand new propshaft for 250.00 but that seems like it might be a difficult job, just don't know what plan of action to take to get this fixed, any ideas or help is greatly appreciated, also found a lower unit from a 71 1150 wonder if that will fit?

propwash.
