Jake, when you say you have replaced coils, I must assume that the engine is ADI ign. with 4 coils, that makes it a 76 or newer engine? If it is, disconnect the orange or blk/ yellow wire from the switch box and then swap the red and red white wires and the blue and the blue white wires on the switch box, if the spark don't change and is still not on the bottom 2 cyl then it is the switch box but if it's now on the bottom 2 and not on the top 2 cyls. then its the stator---Bob

It's really hard to trouble shoot a engine then you are not sure of the year and don't have a serial nunber
