Carbs

I have some gasoline leaking from the carbs on my 1973 Merc 500 50 HP. The bulb will not get hard and I have been told that I need to put a carb kit on her. My question is, how hard is it for a novice to do? I can purchase the kit for about $20.00 vs paying someone $200.00 to do it for me. I have a manual on the way also.

It's not diffacult, but time comsuming if you have a manual and are mechanicly inclined you should be able to do it, You are the one who knows your capablitys best
