Mercury 7.5 what year

The serial number is 7076730, located on the engine block and on the clamp between mounting screws.<br />Where can I look up the year and get general repair and operator info on this outboard? I would like to find a manual and owners guide on line.

Hi Ganderson,<br /><br />Unlike Johnrudes (Johnsons and Evinrudes), which use the year for information, Mercury use the serial number. You'll get more information and service advise by quoting the serial number than the year.<br /><br />Chris..............
