Can anyone help me determine the shaft length of the following motor:<br />1998 mercury 250 EFI <br />serial number 0g424431<br />Thanks

can ya post the model number? I am lazy today and dont feel like crossing the seriel to the model. the model number will tell the shaft length.

The model number from the Merc site gives:<br /><br />Model Number: 1250423SD<br /><br />if that is correct, how can you determine the shaft length from that? Just curious.

amd<br /> if I can raise a friend and give it to him his computer will give the breakdown.<br /> I cant remember it out of memory.<br /> lucky for me I quit working full time for a merc dealer about 97. <br /> but our dealer software could Id all kinds of things. <br />so I shot off an email and ill see if anyone is home.

Mercury says its a 25" shaft<br />If anyone knows of one please let me know.<br />Thanks
