Buy spare ignition keys for control box?

We bought a Mariner 50 hp outboard, and the key couldn't be found. Is there someway to buy another key without having to replace the ignition switch? Thanks.

Most dealers have a ring of keys to tell which key you need try your nearest dealer

ba, There are about ten keys which fit all Mercs. If you can find a code number on the key switch, the dealer can sell you a new key on the spot. If not, you might need to take it to the dealer to get the correct one. Maybe you can borrow the whole set.
