Are they the same?

I have a 1991,115 4cyl merc.I have a chance to purchase a 1986 115/W/controls for parts.Can anyone tell me what parts,if any would be the same?Any help would be greatly appreciated,Thanks in advance,Bruce.........

If that's a 6 cylinder, the gearcase drain and vent screws are about all.

WBW,thanks for the reply,I'm not sure yet if it's a 6cyl,Did they make 4cyl's in 86?

Don't think so Nod.<br /><br />I think the inline 6s were produced to '88. Only then the 4s started.<br /><br />But a serial number from your possible purchase will tell for sure
