Serial # and Wiring Diagram

I have a Mercury motor that has 20hp on the cowl. I'm not sure. The serial # is 5183875.<br /><br />Here's the real problem. At the suggestion of a mechanic, my dad eliminated the wiring harness going into the motor. The motor will now turn over, but not fire.<br /><br />If I knew the model year I think the links I found on this site will hook me up with a diagram.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

Thanks a bunch. So it's a 1979 Model 200. Hopefully I've printed out the right wiring diagram and we can get this beast running again.
