Good morning just wondering if someone could tell me if they know a reliable source to get a powerhead rebuilt.Lost a oil line a week ago going down the lake, and it was just like you reach over and shut the key off.Had the line replaced the mechanic did a compression check and said #2 cylinder only had 50 lbs compression all others had 115.Or could i just put 1 pston in!Any advice appreciated. Thanks Danny

Danny-
If you oil pump went, all the cylinders would not recieve oil...not just cylinder #2. More than likely than not you had a lean carb. But since the others are fine I'd do a decarb first and see if that improves the compression. If it doesn't then it's time to pull the cylinder heads and take a look.

When do you live? No one can tell you where to take your engine if they have no idea where you live.
