Merc 9.9 ignition

I docked my boat. Turning the key off did not shut down the motor. I removed the gas line to run it out of gas. Now turning the key to the on, off or start position does nothing. I cleaned-up the batter terminals; no improvement.<br />Battery fully charged. Any suggestions? Thanks

That sounds like a wire has came unpluged under the bonnet or where the harnesses plug together
