brown band 75 water pump kit xtra bits??

just received kit but it has 5 gaskets (i only need three.<br />5 o rings (i can only find i on base of old pump)<br />a metal pin!<br />the impeller key<br />i black rubbery washer<br />i orange rubbery washer<br />two blue coated fibre washers<br />and two small ruber tubes. (look like the large one that is seal in water inlet tube.<br /><br />Question is are the other bits for different models or is this the reason old pump failed.<br />just got engine and i have no manual.

It's a universal kit that fits many differant engines, just don't use the extra peices
