Would someone please be able to scan and send me a diagram of a 1973 8hp Yamaha outboard engine. I am particularily interested in the drive shaft, lower unit and propeller. A diagram of a similar year or model should also be of help
thanks Dhadley....this helps a little but the parts manuals only go back to '84. Does anyone know where I could get diagrams for '73/'74 models. Was there alot of changes to the layout between '73 and '84?
Well, being the yamaha outboard series didn't come into the states till 84, you're not gonna find any diagrams on this side of the pond. If you're sure of the year, then it was most certainly built for sale overseas.
If the author of the copyrighted material offers it up for free then it isn't against the law. Who knows, maybe the author is a member here? You won't know until you ask.
