I noticed the line on the block of my 130 yamaha and all of these valves are parralel with the line. Do these valves suck oil and fuel and push it thru its own line to the front of the intake and how do you check them? Can you blow into them or pull vaccum only? How do you remove them? Unsrew or pull them out? Thanks I have never fooled with these and want to know if they are working and maybe replace if bad? Thanks

Hi Rodbolt, It is a 92 130 yamaha. It seem on two I can only blow air into them. How do you clean them without removing? Thanks Is it a two way fitting meaning fuel comes out of that vale but also go back in the oppsite direction. Thanks

Re: Recirc check valves

if it is in fact a valve then its a oneway check valve. on those I use a syringe from the vet supply and some clear tubing from the vet and it should pass air one way and not the other. I think it should blow ito but not be able to suck out of.
like I say my brain is old and I cant remember off my head. I will try to remember to look at parts smart tomorrow for ya. but if some are working as one way check valves and others are not, odds are you have some bad recirc valves. grab them with vise grips and twist back and forth while pulling. it will ruin the valve or fitting so have new ones ready to go back in. the lines on the block help in orienting the valve nipple.
good luck and keep posting

One note on the valves is to check the price of them before you start ruining them - i want to say that the yamaha dealer charged almost $20 a pop for that tiny little black oil valve/fitting when i twisted one apart to inspect inside. Just FYI

Re: Recirc check valves

hello
Boniyoman
Ilooked up a 115txrr on partsmart. it listed the fittings as nipples not check valves
I have another dealer/technician friend I will ask. some yammi v configurations used the pulses from the pistons to move recirc fuel and no check valves. I dont think your has them but I will double check
SPETE
yep them tiny check valves are like 26 dollars apiece and you could fit 50 in your pocket.
its amazing.
if your shocked with yamaha try volvo diesel :)
good luck and keep posting

hello
you will have to have a dealer that will allow you to use the install disc. for any online accesses you will also need the dealer number. good luck and keep posting
