what should be top rpm yamaha 115/2stroke

I have 1998 115yamaha/2stroke /17pitch stainless<br />steel prop. I am reading in other postings that some people arew getting 5800 rpm out of this engine.I am sure my dealer told mine should top out at 5000 and that is all i can ever get and sometimes only 4800/4900 . Is this correct for this model?/

that's all I'm getting from mine Yukon,('98 115/2 stroke)I also heard 5800 is possible. PowerTech prop,not sure of pitch,I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know.
