92 yamaha 130 misses for a split second

My engine today started to miss for a split second only when I hit the trim switch. I was running 5500 and would touch the trim and you could feel the engine miss while you pressed the trim button. Any Suggestions. Thanks Engine still runs great and has about 70 hours on it after I built it last winter. This is the first electical problem that I have had.

You need to check battery connections,batteries and charging system. Carefully check grounds also. That is a sign of low voltage.

I noticed the back of my key(ignition switch is hot to the touch) All the grounds are clean and tight. I use lock nuts on battery terminals. I will pick up a new switch to see if this helps.
