haveing trouble splitting the drive box to fit new seals any one got any ideas.<br />dont want to use a bigger hammer as its aly.<br />realy I'm after a exploded view.

Did you remove the one hidden bolt underneath the cavitation plate near the trim tab?

yes I found that one and removed, now trying to get the drive shaft tube out.<br />this is a bit complex as I am doing it for my son who is in Porto Santo, and I am in the U.K. and have to phone him as he has no computer access. many thanks for your help so far

Did you remove the clutch rod / shaft connection under the power head? If so, the lower unit will seperate from the drive shaft housing w/o too much force.
