YAMAHA 115hp -91 Tilt problems

Having problem with my tilt equipment. I can´t tilt the motor up or down. When I press the the buttom I can hear a "click" but the motor won´t tilt upp or down. Is there a fuse to the tilt equipment? <br /><br />Hope you all understand my english.<br /><br />regards <br /><br />Joakim<br />Sweden

You have two wires running to the trim motor. One is blue the other is green. Disconect and apply a postive to one and a negative to the other. If the motor runs, then you most likely have a bad relay unit.

Joakim,<br /><br />Check all your electricals particularly the earths. Use your meter and see how many volts are being applied to the wires Ray mentions.
