1988 DT 115 runs on 3 cyl

Hi, just took my boat out for a spin, it takes off with 4 cyl running and suddenly only 3 runs.<br />After some troubleshooting I found out that nr 2 is not running, it's not clean(water), but it's wet. When I run the engine it runs on 4 when I give it full throttle, but when I take it back it only runs on 3. Does anyone out there have any ideas. I'm from Noray so please excuse my english.

Hi,<br /><br />Do You have a good bright spark on no 2 spark plug?<br /><br />Have You checked that You use a non defective spark plug on no 2 cyl and correct spark plugs (NGK B8HS) with correct gap (0,8-0,9 mm)?<br /><br />I would probably check over the no 2 carburator also (clean and maybe a carburator kit with new needle valve unless You have done this).<br />Float and float height in no 2 carburator is also a thing to check up.<br /><br />Seems the fuel is delivered to but not burned in no 2 cyl sometimes.<br /><br />You can check at brownspoint.com if You need a parts list before You tear down any carburator.<br />It is the "Parts Look.Up".
