New Crestliner 1850SF w/Yammy F150 - analogue guages .<br />Power at trim sending unit no power at guage.<br /><br />Sound like a cut wire?

who made the gauges and who is trying to rig it and describe more about the no power thing. yamaha is all plug and play. sounds like a rigging issue. did it ever work ?

I guess Yamaha made the guages, the boat was yamaha rigged by request of the dealer (Crestliner 1850 SF). Originally I could not get the boat with a Yammy ONLY Merc. I wanted Yammy. So I found out thaqt if the dealer asked Crestliner could still rig for yammy.<br /><br />The dealer told me that there is power at the trim sending unit but not at the guage. Thats all I know.

need to know who made the gauges. if they are not yamaha there are some wiring mods that must be made.

Most of the aftermarket trim guages require the ground to be run seperately to the guage.

look at the brand name on them.
