I receantly obtained a Sears Game Fisher 3.0 The model # is 298-585190 and the serial #0120837. Who is the manufacturer and date of production? Also where can I get a repair manual?

Tanaka Power Equiptment made that engine. Although they are now out of the outboard game, they do support their products and have downloadable owners and parts manuals:<br /> Click here. <br /><br />Sears Parts may be able to help as well. Also, your nearest Tanaka dealer may be able to help with some parts or manuals. If they can't help, search the internet for the "Outboard Motor Service Manual, Vol 1" made by Intertec. <br /><br />As best I can figure it, yours was built in 1987. I don't think that matters too much since Tanaka didn't make yearly changes to the TOB-300.<br /><br />Hope this helps!
