canvas top snaps

I have a canvas top on my boat that snaps to the wind sheild and also snaps to the gunwales but one of the screwed in fixed male part of the snap is coming lose what can i do to tighten it up. so it wont fall out when unsnaping the top.<br /><br />Thanks to anyone who has an answer for me!

Epoxy the hole shut, redrill and reinsert the snap.

There are inserts made of plastic that you can push into the hole and then screw in the tab.They work pretty good.

You can also use a snap that pop rivets on versus the screw. These won't come loose. If you look at the Mega Mall site here at iboats there are a ton of different fastners.
