    mercruiser 120 overheating

    I just bought a 1985 mercruiser 120 I/O boat. Boat was sitting for 2 years. I did a basic tune up Oil changed, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil. I did not change drive oil. motor runs great when hook up to ear muffs. Let run for 15-20 min and temp barely moved. I put the boat in the water today...

    how do i adjust my trim tab on mercruiser

    I have rebuilt the drive on my mercruiser and did not mark where the trim tab was. I need to know what the trim tab does and how to adjust it. Can anyone help me out??

    1985 mercruiser 120/140 will go forward. will not go reverse

    Boat will only go forward. will not go reverse. when you put it in forward you hear it lock in a prop spins. when you try reverse it only throttle up will not lock into reverse and prop will not spin. Anyone know what might cause this?

    1985 mercruiser 120/140 will not trim up

    Trim will only tilt down. I tried to jump the switch still nothing. unplugged and cleaned connections to motor still nothing. Please help! what is wrong with this thing?

    New starter wont turn

    I have a 1985 Galaxy conquest with a mercruiser 120 I/O. New starter will not do anything. Im not sure if i hooked wiring up right.
