    impeler vanes flip

    Hi, i have a 88 2.3 bay liner capri with a omc cobra stren drive. all drive parts are new and impeler installed in clock wise rotation. After testing with muffs it works fine for 10 to 20 seconds then feed hose at thermo starts to spit and is imtermitent. Pulled imp cover off and 3 to 4 vanes...

    trim miss

    found my miss when taping trim while at full speed . bad tilt motor brush. Thought i would pass it on Thanks for the reply. Still have intermitent water from stern pump . Any thoughts on mater could jar my brain to life and would be welcomed. 1988 bayliner capri 2.3 omc stern drive. Thanks

    water surges from stern drive pump

    I have a 1988 bay liner capri with a 2.3 and cobra stern drive. I installed a new uper gear case ,complete new pump assembley,lower water tube seals and corect clockwise rotation on impeler.     trim miss

    mech. for 40 + years . What is the story with the trim miss at speed? Did all elec mech hyd to the nine. Whats up with 88 by liner 2.3. I still learn somthing new every day tx.:confused:
