    79' 15hp Johnson Dies out

    I have a 1979 Johnson Seahorse that I just purchased, and It starts fine cold, but only runs for maybe a minute before stalling out. When I turn the throttle up on the tiller handle to keep it running, it doesn't idle up, and still dies out. I don't know if it's getting flooded, or not getting...

    I just purchased a 1964 18 foot glassmaster with a 1971 Evinrude 125hp. The motor ran back in september 2006 when the previous owner purchased it from the original owner. It has since sat for 8 months. I have not tried to start it as of yet, due to the battery being dead, and it being dark...
