How do we fill this pump? 1965 Starcraft Holiday. Dip-sticked the fill tube and it was almost dry. Added very little fluid and it showed full, did not seem to fill at all. Cannot find any documentation on this. It is the white pump with the original decals on it.
Where do you find parts? Please help. Even classic sites offer almost nothing. Really need some advice on servicing original POWER TILT pump....THANKS!

listened to the boat store mechanic that told us to take off the handle on a 1986 mercruiser remote control to replace the throttle cable. when we removed the cover plate to relieve stresses on the wires the thing basically fell apart in our hands.having trouble getting handle to work properly...

put on new fuel pump, hoses look ok,two tanks switchable. should i get new filters and line,clamps or do i have to somehow prime fuel pump? i may unbolt fuel pump to see if lobe is ok or should i check to see if the valves are moving (timing chain)... it ran great two weeks ago drove it to the...
boat ran fine 2 weeks ago, tried to start today fuel pump does'nt seem to produce.unhooked both intake lines and turned over engine , i feel very weak suction on the intake side both in front of and behind sediment bowl, filters looks clean, should it be a pretty strong suction? want to order...
any tips at all on installing the outdrive back onto the bell housing?, gimbal bearing and coupler are aligned, i bought the tool and it slides in 1.5 inches or so and i can see spline marks all the way around the diameter of the tool, lightly greased the spline, drive shaft and gear housing...
65 1aez, having problems accessing aft u-joint bellows clamp nut, someone put it on top! if i pull the gimbal ring hinge pins i think i can lay it back enough to make access, how tough are these to pull?
have a 1965 1aez outdrive. the gimbal bearing has no snap ring but does have a metal ring with two notches in it, does this come out with the bearing or is it a screw in retainer?

65 starcraft again, still fine tunig idle ect. but have a bleed down problem with the full power tilt cylinders... checked the cylinders with a plug and they hold , how tough is it to tear open that pump and replace check balls etc. i believe it is one of the white pumps.

had 110 engine trouble thread ,got her running but have spinning push rod at 4 exhaust. re adjusted but still spins. are these hydraulic lifters? 110 chevy 4 cylinder. thanks ...let er rip!
