    queastion about west bend 35hp ???

    need to know how my west bend gets help up after the catch release is released ,there is nothing to hold engine up when traveling with it, i have been jamming a piece of wood between engine and transom any help would be great or pictures would be better thanks in advance

    Im currently mixing my gas at 40/1 in my 63 westbend 35hp i have only ran boat in a barrel so far seem's ok but would like to know for sure what the proper mixture is before i take it out on the water

    I hear alot of different opinion's on these old motor's people say 24/1 is the right mixture? But people say could go 40/1 with the better oil's we have these day':rolleyes:s anyone ever tryed this or am i better of to stick to 24/1 any info would be helpfull thanks in advance

    the tag says 50162 made in peterbrough ontario canada has decompession levers on head, it has pressurized fuel tank, electric start, plus pull start, single carb, all i can think of need more info let me know thanks in advance
