    Getting paranoid

    Other than fluid and impeller changes, the boat has been running great for about 3 years now. Getting worried that something is going to break. Not complaining, been great not having to work on it and just being able to just enjoy it. Any body else get worried when it's been running too good?

    I know that to start that you have the trim tabs down and the motor tucked in. Then when the boats gets on plane, do you bring the trim tabs up and only use them to control the left to right leaning of the boat and use the trim of the motor to control the trimming of the boat?     Length of winch strap

    I need to replace the winch strap. The one on now is 15' long. The boat is a 19' Cobalt. My thinking is to get one that would at least reach the back of the trailer as the current one would be short of that. What length would you recomend.

    Awhile back in one of the post someone mentioned that you could use ATF fluid on the teak. I was interested to see if anyone has tried it and how did it turn out.

    Bass Lake Oakurst CA.

    Does anyone know how late in the year you can still boat on Bass Lake. I was thinking that it might be a nice day trip mid to late October, but wasnt sure of the water level that late in the season.
