I'm dealing with an overheat problem. I think the water tube to powerhead connection is leaking. Unless I misunderstand something. With a garden hose attached to the water tube should any water come back down through the opening at C in the picture?
I'm trying to remove the powerhead from my '71 50hp. I know I need to remove the bolts coming from above into cowl. I also think I need to remove the bolts coming from the mid-leg up into the power head. I've included pictures with notation. Any other bolts I need to remove?
