K so I have a 76 850 85hp mercury, I've had the carbs cleaned, compression 140 on all 4, good spark, new plugs, new fuel cap, was running OK after we got it back from mechanic for about 3 weeks. I took some family members out and on that trip it ran OK to start then wouldn't stay even at idle...
