    Garmin oregon vs Garmin Dakota vs Garmin nuvi 500

    I've been wanting and looking for the best handheld device for Marine use mainly (lakes, rivers in mn) And then auto nav secondary.. Anybody own one of these three? Goods and cons? Or get away from Garmin? Any input is helpful Thanks

    Garmin nuvi for lake maps?

    Will a garmin nuvi work w/ lake chips meant for marine units? Garmin says yes... But won't tell me the detail content. Does anyone have a nuvi with lake maps? I looked this up before hand on here and all posts were from '08. I do know that Garmin sells the nuvi 500/550 that is auto/marine...

    boat name placement?

    On an outboard boat, where's the best or most common place to put the name of your boat? sides I'd imagine, but front or middle or back?

    Thinking of redoing the bow...

    Have a 82 starcraft ss180. The bow seating area is in fair condition, but I stand on the cushions more than I sit. And the wood underneath the seats are rotting away... I want to rip out the seats and put in a platform/deck. I've seen others do this. I have done it to an old Lund, which I loved...

    When taking this apart, Does anything fly out at you... Possibly a dumb question, but for those who have taken this apart, any comments? I'm doing this to access my accessory of my ignition switch to switch my tank sender on and radio... Thanks for any input!

    Larry Dahlberg top-water lures

    Has anyone used any of these top-water lures? He has like 5 main ones, a frog, a craw fish, one called the wide glide, whopper plopper. I've seen them for sale on eBay. They're a little more pricey than most lures... And I'm curious if anyone has used them and what success they've had. thanks

    76 Evinrude 115hp two issues

    Hey everyone, I have a 76 115hp Evinrude It runs ok, but when I start it and it doesn't start right away it makes this loud squeal sound, that's just simply annoying and embarrassing...
