    R&R 1989 5.0L Merc??

    I think I am going to tackle changing the motor in my 1989 Webbcraft. I am possibly going to rebuild it and reinstall. <br />*Any suggestions on removal and replacement of this year motor? I sure need all the help I can get!<br />Thanks for you help,<br />Toby

    Replacing 5.0 Merc with 5.7 Merc???

    Can this be done with out changing a bunch of stuff? Is the gear ratio of the outdrive concern? I was told that it would be no problem to do this and the manifolds would interchange as well as everything else..?<br /><br />Give me some feedback

    Seized up motor or locked up outdrive??

    Milky oil...mercruiser 888

    My brother is looking to buy this 77 webbcraft it has a mercruiser 888. I checked the engine oil and it was a white milky color. My instinct said this is real bad! I have had mixed answers and I know all of you here would shoot me straight.<br />Thanks In advance for your help.

    Rough idle..after tune up kit installed?

    1987 2.3 omc I have just installed a tune up kit ( points, condenser, rotor and cap) The boat will idle rough in neutral. I changed plugs end of last year. I set the gap at .019 with the advice from my local marine store. <br />What do ya think is the deal?

    OMC starter question......
