    Compression check cold, I am getting 120 top and bottom on the right side, and 100 on top and bottom on the left side, any ideas? Thanks!

    1979 80 hp Johnson

    It turns offer slowly and sometimes starts, then falls dead and appears to be locked up, try using a breaker bar and socket on top of flywheel and it will not budge, let it sit 20-30 minutes and it turns over again but slowly, an hour or two and it starts and so the cycle goes.

    Power Reed replacementes on 1987 90hp Johnson

    Replace the reeds with the carbon fiber reeds and now it leaks gas when throttled from cars and sneezes on ocassion through carbs at idle, anyone know what would cause this, i read I may have over tighten them, the reed blocks are aluminum and clean as a whistle, did not use a torque wrrench...

    Tunnel Hull Cavitating Pics

    It appears that cavitation plate is about 2 inches above the top of the tunnel. So is this why it is cavitating out of the hole,?

    have 87 90 hp Johnson, new bulp and all gas lines including the little fellows from the choke solenoid to top of carbs. Have gas going to solenoid, it clicks when I push and turn key, but no gas from the little hoses. The ignition switch was replaced, could the wires be backwards in the...

    86 Johnson tilt and trim

    I have tried to get my tilt to trim up but it will not. I hooked a positive to the green wire on the trim motor and it goes down, but when I hook it to the blue wire it does not go up, click, it only gets very hot. It was working fine. any help is appreciated Thanks!
