    what I noticed was that the new bearing caps i installed were stamped with a good tolerance to lock them in but once I removed them the diameter was compressed causing a lack of tight fit when wanting to replace. Im thinking the caps are a cheap, thin chinese POS.

    actually I had installed new solid zinc coated caps, popped them off for a periodic inspection and the next trip out I noticed 1 had come offand a 2nd was ready to fall off as well. So Im just determining the best way forward without losing more caps going down the road.

    hi, I need to replace a hose on 1of my trim tabs. Im using a boat leveler pump but unsure how to disconnect the hose at the tab. There seems to be a sleeve crimped over the hase at the cylinder. Any ideas? thanks jim

    Hello, Is it possible or just not recommended to reuse a wheel bearing (back side of hub)seal in order to access the bearing on a boat trailer. Not sure if there is a tool that safely removes a seal without oblong Ing or deforming it thanks jim
