    The boat is 15' 1/2" and wieghts about 700lbs empty,My question is what kind of speed should i get with 2 150lb people and 100lb tackle.I have a ss 19 pitch 3 blade prop,and max RPMS is 5200. THANKS!:confused:

    Right Prop?

    I changed out a 2 blade brass prop,that was on my 1975 Merc 850 85hp,to a 3 blade Quicksilver lightining thro flo with a 19" pitch ss prop that i had on a 2004 90hp that was on a boat that i use to have.     I took my skeeter F80 w/mercury 850 85hp out on the lake this morning and when i tryed to open it up,It was struggling to get on plane,The bulb was colapsing together,my son would pump it fast and it would run good.Do i need to get another prime bulb?,Is this the only thing that could be...
