    I have a 2001 70hp Johnson. I was cleaning up under the cowl and found this piece. The part number indicates that is an adjuster for the timer base assembly, #83 in the picture. Does anyone know how exactly this mounts on the motor? Thanks

    Year range from cowl paint scheme

    Can anyone give a rough estimate of the year of this 70hp Evinrude by the paint scheme of the cowling? The owner claims that is a 1994 model, I will check the model number but this potential purchase is over an hour away and I would like to know ahead of time. Thanks

    Backtroller Tiller Handle

    I have a blown up 1992 Johnson 60hp back troller with the tiller handle. I would like to know if the controls are the same between the 60/70 and V-4 motors. Could I put my tiller handle on a 115 and have the throttle, shifter, and kill switch all work?
