I know this sounds dumb but the manual i have doesnt say and im not sure at all. Is this the hydraulic steering reservoir? I thought it was up front by the steering wheel.
And what type of fluid do I use on it?

I have a voyager pontoon an what I believe is steering vent fill plug on my dashboard. Does anyone know what type of approved fluid I can use thats sold in Walmart?

I connected my two batteries like so:
Negative cable to one battery then another wire from that battery to the other batteries negative terminal
Positive from one battery to #1 on the perko switch and positive on battery two on #2 perko switch
Connected the positive cables to the common switch...
Can I use quicksilver high performance gear lube SAE 90 for my alpha one gen II for my sterndrive gear oil instead of the mercruiser premium gear lube?
On my boat the sterndrive says alpha 1 on it. Its a 2008 Voyager Pontoon boat.
The serial number on the stern drive says: 1A210538 and looking at the sites like
