1985 evinrude v-4 115hp
the throttle linkage opens the carbs but the top linkage doesnt move when connected under the flywheel. if i take the linkage off, the throttle cable moves it fine. i have havent taken the flywheel off but before i do i need to know if there is anyhting under there that...
i dont have any newer pics of the boat with me but this will do i guess. i cut the top shell in half to remove it and replace the floor. the line i have drawn is where i cut it. the reason i did it this was instead of lifting the whole shell is that i poured seacast and redid the transom...
i got a 90 horse evinrude and would like to know how to properly break it in. it has 2 new pistons and new rings all around. on cylinder was bored and the other honed. the mechanic has already done the low speed break in. he tells me to now run 20 gallons with double tcw at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle...
i got a 84 evinrude 90 horse thats idles high. it runs at 2100 rpms and i cant get it go any lower. cable off , carbs are fine, spark, timing is fine, im stumped!
