i have a 86 or 84 merc 150 v6 that will not stay running at start up if i push in the choke and open the hand throttle all the way it will run at WOT for a few seconds then stall i cleaned the carbs put 2 sets of plugs in it cylinder copression is at 120PSI +-5PSI
new gas oil mix...

i took the boat out yesterday and it would start for about 10 sec then choke out then would have trouble starting again but after starting it would have the same problem... the engine is a 2006 yamaha 50 2-stroke that just fell out of warenty. today i replaced all the fuel line...
