    Ok the carbs are rebuilt and its running good except for a slight pops and a little miss on full throttle. Does anyone have any ideas? What would cause this? It runs great till the last 1/8 throttle.

    1974 Volvo outdrive

    I have a 1974 18ft Donzi with 1974 Volvo 270 engine and drive. The boat seems to go in and out of gear fine although sometimes the drive refuses to engage into reverse. Then all of the sudden it will engage normaly again. <br /><br /> :confused:

    1998 35 mercury

    98 merc 35 runs great idle and half throttle but if you run it wide open it dies. Re-starts fine but once you floor it it dies.<br />Any ideas? :eek:

    I just bought this engine used and it seems to be in great shape compression is 130+. It seems to idle a little rough but not very bad, mid speed is great. The only problem I encounter is running full throttle it seems to sputter a bit. If I back off to a little more than 3/4 its fine its just...
