Hello All,
I am in the process of getting the boat ready for launch this weekend and I realized the flipper switch does not actuate the bilge pump when moved into the up position but the pump does actuate when the manual bilge pump switch on the console is put in the on position. So I know there...
Not sure if this is the right forum for this question but here goes. I've got a 2000 22 ft Angler center console with a big gas leak somewhere. I put 15 gallons in the other day when it was on the trailer and it all ended up in the bilge. Fuel lines and fill line have been eliminated as the...

Last year I started smelling very strong gas fumes inside the console of my 2000 Angler CC. Around the same time I noticed a slick when my bilge pump kicked on and sure enough there was straight gas in the bilge. The boat was immediately pulled out of the water and sent in to be looked at. I...
There are several places on my boat where the screw holes have become stripped out and the screws are no longer doing their job causing a very rattly ride. What is the best way to remedy this. Do I use anchors or fill the holes with some kind of putty or cement? Thanks a lot!
Not sure if this is the right place for this question but the steering on my 21ft Angler w/ 150 hp Evinrude locked all the way left and won't budge. There is a small steering fluid leak I found after. Its a SeaStar hydraulic steering system. Would bleeding the system most likely fix this problem...
On the day my boat was coming out of the water, the steering locked up when I had the wheel cut all the way to the left. I can't physically budge the motor either. It is a SeaStar hydraulic steering system on a 150 hp Evinrude o/b /21ft Angler boat. I later found out that there may have been a...
I read on another topic that you owned or own one of these motors. I am probably buying one this week but I'm a little weary because I've heard of a lot of problems with them. The one I'm considering has 340 hrs on it and has been dealer maintained since it was new. It is going to an Evinrude...
I am considering purchasing a 2000 Evinrude 150 Ficht motor on a 21 ft Pro Sports boat. I have heard mixed reviews of these motors. If I have a compression and diagnostic test done and both come back ok, is this a good indicator that the motor is fine? It currently has about 340 hrs of use on it.
