    petrol running from top of carb

    thought i would change the impellor on my 80,s yam 15hp when finished i pressurised fuel system with bulb and noticed petrol pouring out of the top of the carb also ran badly ,did have the engine a bit more than vertical when doing the impeller,what do i need to do to rectify this problem as it...

    yam 50 autolube compression test

    my engine has been stored for 18 months,so i took it to an engineer who tested the compression on all three cylinders readings were between 80-100 all roughly the same ,but this was before the engine was run after 18 months.would the readings be different after it had been run for a while.thanks
