    Evinrude starting problem

    My 2hp evinrude has a spark, fuel getting to the engine. I pull start the motor but it won't take. What would you suggest i did next. The motor has no clutch but seems clean etc. The engine alsi seems in good nick, though i don't know what it really looks like inside. If the answer involes...

    motor problem

    I have an old 2hp evinrude, 1974.motor will tun, there is a spark, but it won't come to life. Is this type of motor supposed to have a clutch. I can't see one and have to attempt to start it with the prop rotating. is this right? Fuel is getting to the engine and the cylinder I pull start it...
