Hi guys, I just bought riverfront property where the water level can fluctuate by a few feet (Kankakee River). It has a concrete seawall already in place. The problem here is that I want to keep my 2014 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW in the water for most of the year since I fish the river all time...

I'm just wondering if it will be too long and be too deep down into the water. I'm worried about this because the river where I live has some shallow spots in it and obviously I don't want to ruin the motor. Its says 31 inches from transom...
I'm just looking at the thrust aspect, not the power draw or anything like that. Obviously the larger will require more amps. If there is enough of a difference in power to notice then I will definitely be spending the extra 50 bucks and getting the 45lb. Thanks for your input.
