    Should discharge water be cold.

    I ran my Nissan 40C and 5A for about 15 minutes yesterday and noticed that the discharged cooling water was still cold. Is that normal? It is funny but I never checked discharge temp before.

    Downriggers in shallow water

    I like to fish for Chinook salmon in the Nehalem and Alsea bays (Oregon). Water averages about 10 to 16 ft. deep. Lots of boats when salmon are in. To help in crowded waters, I was thinking of using downriggers about 2 ft. off the bottoem. Has anbody tried this?
