I didn't as that valve cover has the oil fill hole and cap in the front. I inadvertently wrote port side in my original post but it is indeed the starboard side valve cover. I will flip it around and see if it sits down level. Thx!

Hey guess what happens when you rush? You make mistakes of course.......so when I put the wiring harness back on after reinstalling the heads, I inadvertently had the harness leads (purple + black) to the coil reversed. The leads from the coil to the distributor were correct.

Another update - I replaced my non-oem impeller with an OEM one and took it to the ramp. Temps never got above 175F and manifolds stayed cool.
